Job Responsibilities: POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Manager is responsible for the product development and management of select life science products. This position will also be responsible for the creation, development, and implementation of business plans and strategies to increase sales and maximize operating profits. He or she will support all new product development and market introductions and provide technical expertise and training to customers and the sales force.
Responsible for the product management of select life science products including price/proposal development, product inventory plans, testing regimens and the development of customer validation programs manufactured at global Healthcare Markets locations.
Responsible for the development of business and marketing plans to increase sales and operating profits of the product portfolio. Conduct market research and analysis to support business plans.
Provide training, samples, and technical support to the global sales teams, customer service departments, and global distribution partners.
Assist in the generation of new product ideas, new product development, and commercialization of new products.
Develop all product/service support materials such as promotion, validation guides, tests data, collateral materials, advertising, web based elements, and trade show preparation.
COMPETENCIES:
Bachelors degree required, preferably in marketing with 4 or more years of experience in brand or product marketing. MBA Preferred.
Biopharmaceutical process experience required.
Project management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills
Marketing data analysis is a plus
Strong computer skills as it relates to the position-PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Ability to travel 40%
