Responsibilities:
Noblis has provided technical support to DoD environmental missions in the San Antonio region for over 25 years. The Noblis San Antonio Site Leader provides strategic direction, business development, and leadership for the environmental program based in texas. The individual shall lead business development and client capture focused on the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), the Army Environmental Command (AEC) and other federal client organizations. The San Antonio site leader will oversee the local operations and report up to the Director of Enterprise Engineering and Environmental Solutions. The San Antonio Site Leader will be responsible for the staffing, mentoring, and growth of on-site staff. The technical support to the clients includes all areas of environmental science, environmental engineering, risk assessment, sustainability, and energy.
The specific responsibilities of this position include:
*
Lead talented technical staff supporting Air Force, Army and other federal government clients with environmental missions;
*
Provide management and mentorship support to engineering and project staff;
*
Develop innovative program initiatives with high level program impact for DOD clients.
*
Providing technical / program level support, including development of execution strategies.
*
Develop, manage and track business development strategies;
*
Build and maintain client relationships;
*
Prepare annual Marketing Plan as part of overall company strategic planning exercise;
*
Work assignments that may require travel up to 25%;
*
Provide coordination with other Noblis sites and Noblis headquarters activities.
*
Development, analysis, and selection of remedial alternatives and exit strategies.
*
Preparation and review of plans and documents.
*
Quality assurance oversight of program activities and work products.
Qualifications:
* Masters in Engineering or Science required. PhD is preferred.
* Twenty years experience in Environmental Remediation programs desired
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, personnel management, and leadership experience. Team player who brings out the best in others,
* Proven track record (at least 10 years of experience) of technical support and business development experience in DoD environmental programs
* Demonstrated nationally recognized technical expertise in an important area of environmental remediation technologies
* Program level management experience.
* Ability to think independently, to work in group environments, and to represent Noblis and our clients in a variety of highly visible and often technically complex circumstances.
* Support to DoD and other Federal government experience required.
