Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop the Science & Technology practice in the Boston office and the Northeast region. ( Working in conjunction with other firm wide S&T practice area leaders)
* Represent Gensler to the Science & Technology sectors of engineering, institutional, contracting and development entities.
* Work closely with our marketing department to ensure business development reporting, lead generation, fee development, project marketing and proposal writing.
* Help to develop a potential new client base for S&T work.
* Mentor staff in the design and delivery of Science and Technology projects through ongoing project work.
* Participate and integrate into office and firm wide activities and meetings, collaborate with other Practice Area Leaders, Studio Directors, Office Management and staff to gain insight on Gensler’s culture and operations.
* Work to develop schematic solutions to enhance our client’s enterprises.
* Establish and maintain relationships with client’s representatives to ensure continuous client satisfaction and quality of service.


Requirements:

* Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 12 years of experience.
* S & T campus planning, Lab planning and core and shell design experience.
* Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree.
* License required.
* Excellent communication and management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with staff members and clients.
